Growing up in a humble neighborhood in the Greater São Paulo Area, technology was more than a tool—it was my window to a wider world. I remember my eyes would glaze over and sparkle like a CRT monitor every time I sat in front of a computer. I was obsessed. My parents tried to set boundaries, but I spent my childhood performing 'digital acrobatics' to bypass parental locks. I wasn't just looking for extra screen time; I was driven by a need to understand the mechanics behind the curtain.
In 2013, I wrote my very first lines of code during my Technical Certificate program in Web Development. It was love at first sight. The realization that I could architect something from nothing and style it exactly how I imagined was intoxicating. That passion fueled my journey to Mackenzie University, where winning a 100% scholarship changed the trajectory of my life. For a kid from my background, that degree wasn't just an academic milestone; it was the ultimate validation of a dream.
The beauty of learning is that no one can take it away from you.
My career eventually took me far beyond the borders of São Paulo. My first contact with a completely different world happened in Italy, an experience that opened my eyes to the global scale of the tech landscape. This was followed by a year in Ireland, working with a diverse international team at Rithum, and a chapter in France as a freelancer and Lead Developer.
These travels are the reason my digital projects now speak 6 languages (English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese). I don’t just translate content; I carry the nuances of these different cultures into every line of code I write, ensuring that "global" isn't just a setting, but a core philosophy.
For a long time, my portfolio served as the only showcase for my finished work. It showed the what, but it lacked the soul—the messy, beautiful logic behind the pixels. I realized I needed more than just a gallery of past projects; I needed a digital workshop.
This blog is that space. It is a home for my code to breathe and a platform to share the deep-dives that a simple project card cannot hold. To ensure this workshop was as robust as the systems I build for my clients, I utilized a high-performance stack: Next.js 15 and React 19, powered by a Strapi 5 backend and orchestrated via AWS. I’ve also introduced Tailwind CSS to achieve a higher level of UI refinement. In the coming months, I’ll be sharing the architectural blueprints of how these pieces fit together.
Ultimately, I love the art of web development in its entirety. My career has been defined by versatility: the ability to design elegant UIs where UX and accessibility are first-class citizens, while simultaneously integrating robust backends with dynamic frontends and architecting efficient databases.
I don't just use tools; I compose with them. Software is never "done"—it’s just in different stages of evolution. I invite you to follow along as I document the next decade of this journey. Explore the portfolio, stay for the logs. The foundation is laid; now it’s time to build.
